Creating a chat

Chats can be started by pressing the "New" button. When starting a conversation, the participants are selected, as well as whether the message is private or public.

• Subject = Message title
• Target = The period covered by the chat. The destination automatically assigns the recipients of the conversation according to their access rights.
• Private = If you want to send a message outside the access restrictions, select "private". (A list of people will appear when you press the "private" button.)

Chats on the front page

The Chats window shows all open discussions that the user is allowed to view. The search function allows you to search for discussions by title and content.

Archiving Chats

Discussions can be archived using the button shown in the image above. Archived conversations can be found under the "Chats (includes Archived)" tab. This tab contains all archived and active conversations in order from newest to oldest. The circled button shown below allows you to return a conversation from the archive to active.
